Aspiring Model no. 1

Aspiring Model no. 11997. My career as a semi-successful fashion photographer was pretty much over due to my addiction problems. I was broke and needed money. I took a job shooting for a fly-by-night Hollywood “modeling agency” factory-producing portfolios for starlet hopefuls. Like so many of those agencies, it was pretty much a scam – the models paid the agency to build a portfolio and I got paid $50 a girl, but it was cash, and if I cranked out 10 in one day, that day paid my rent for another month.

Some of the girls had a chance. Most had no chance at all. There was a lot of desperation going around.
